A little bit about Ohio

When you use Columbus moving companies to move to (we safely presume) Columbus, Ohio you will be moving to the capital and the largest city of a very important state. This midwest, great lake state is not the largest, or the most populated, but it is the first, non-colonial free state to be admitted to the Union. Its strangely shaped flag shows its deep connection to the spirit of our nation and its various monuments  (of which we will show a few) are celebrating its history. Its name comes from “the great creek” and it is a potent reminder of the natural riches of this state.

Ohio offers many things, and some of them are:

  • Vibrant information and service-oriented economy providing an opportunity for work.
  • A great natural beauty that is a great part of most instagrammable places in Ohio.
  • Rich history anyone can be drawn to.

1. Fountain Of Eternal Life – Cleveland

This is a truly astonishing monument. Also known as Peace Arising from the Flames and War Memorial Fountain, it is a true masterpiece of art and a somber reminder of the grim realities of our time. Yet, it is made with hope in mind. Fountain of Eternal Life may be made as a product of war and suffering, but it symbolizes much more. It depicts a man rising from conflict and fire to a new moment of self-realization. Reaching out for Eternal life.

Originally made for the fallen of the Second World War and the Korean War, it now honors the name of those who gave their lives in Spanish-American war, Vietnam war and Second Gulf War as well. Therefore, it is a truly important place to visit and a beautiful sight to behold.

2. Cuyahoga Valley National Park

If you are trying to find a way to cope with moving stress, you should look no further than Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Columbus, Ohio, holds many wonders of the urban metropole such as itself. The arching main street bridge is one of them. It stands out as particularly beautiful and deserving of your attention! Its masterful architecture offers much in the way of visual beauty. And, with its cost of around 60 million dollars, you can be sure that great attention was given to aesthetic suitability of this place.

So take a walk down the main street of Columbus and discover this wonderful bridge. On a sunny day, you are sure to take some good pictures for not only Instagram but wall decoration as well! Who knows, on your next journey, you might just need some tips on how you should be storing artwork properly (yours, obviously).

4.Cleveland Arcade

Raised in 1890. this building stands as a national historic landmark, designated as such in 1975. To say that this building is breathtaking is not giving it justice. This arcade has a beautiful, 300 feet glass skylight that arches over it. It connects two 9 stories building and its self sports 5 stories and 4 intricately enriched balconies. This masterful piece of architecture sure wasn’t cheap, but it is worth every penny.
